Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach for managing anxiety and stress. In fact, CBT has been proven to be as effective as medication! This is often the approach I will use to improve anxiety and stress management. However, if you have tried CBT and would like a different approach, I have had great success using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for managing anxiety and stress.
